We left Patagonia yesterday after my last trip to see a colony of Sea lions with the couple of Americans. They had been in South America for almost five months and had this sweet charm that some people get when they travel a lot.
On the beach, the big males were fighting for the females lying around and it was pretty amazing to watch.
On our way to the airport, I was watching the sunset on the Patagonian scenery with this playing in my ears while my dad and the driver were talking about tango.
My dad refused to come to the additional trips I did after the two first days of wildlife watching pretending that he was tired and that it wasn’t really his thing. He couldn’t stop talking about the animals we saw to his friend who was driving us back from Buenos Aires airport though…
Nous avons quitté la Patagonie hier, après ma dernière visite à une colonie de lions marins avec le couple d’Américains. Ils arrivaient gentiment à leur cinquième mois en Amérique du sud et avaient ce doux charme qu’ont les gens qui ont beaucoup voyagé.
Sur la plage, les gros mâles se battaient pour les femelles endormies et c’était très impressionant à regarder.
Je regardais un dernier coucher de soleil sur le paysage Patagonien en écoutant cette chanson dans la voiture qui nous conduisait à l’aéroport, pendant que mon père et le conducteur parlaient de tango.
Mon père avait refusé de venir aux deux dernières excursions, prétendant qu’il était fatigué et que d’observer des animaux n’était pas vraiment sont truc. Il ne pouvait cependant pas s’arrêter de parler des animaux que nous avions vus à son amis qui nous attendait à l’aéroport de Buenos Aires...
